Foundation Home Loans hires new national sales manager

Mark Whitear has joined Foundation Home Loans as its national sales manager.

 Whitear joins following time at Kensington and Fleet Mortgages, where he fulfilled distribution and account manager positions.

His career spans more than 30 years, with the last 16 years focused on roles specific to the mortgage industry. During this time, he has worked as a broker and worked for lenders in both the buy-to-let and specialist sectors.

At Foundation Home Loans, Whitear will be responsible for managing the team of regional account managers.

Whitear said: “I am delighted to be appointed Foundation Home Loans’ new national sales manager and am keen to get started. I have thorough experience in business relationship and people management so I am confident I can help the business achieve its objectives.”

Andrew Ferguson, commercial director at Foundation Home Loans, added: “Considering Mark has seen the world of mortgages from both sides of the fence, we are confident the breadth of his experience will support our overall growth strategy for the remainder of 2018 and the year ahead.”
