Foundation Home Loans has named Alan Davison as its new chief commercial officer, strengthening its senior leadership team as the lender looks to build further scale in specialist lending.
The intermediary-only specialist lender confirmed the appointment today, with Davison (pictured) joining the business in January from Afin Bank, where he also held the role of chief commercial officer.
Davison brings more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, spanning lending, sales and commercial strategy. His previous roles include distribution director for personal finance at Together, as well as head of conduct and customer experience and marketing at RBS.
Foundation Home Loans said the appointment would support its growth ambitions across its core specialist buy-to-let and residential lending propositions, while ensuring the business has the management depth required to drive future volumes and strengthen broker and client engagement.
Pete Ball, chief executive officer at Foundation Home Loans, said: “Everyone at Foundation Home Loans is very pleased to be welcoming Alan to the business. He has a wealth of experience, energy and strategic clarity to bring to the role.
“His deep understanding of the specialist lending market and strong track record in building commercial growth will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our proposition and deliver even greater support for our intermediary partners.”
Davison added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Foundation Home Loans at such an exciting time for the business, and seeking to build on what already makes it a highly successful lender – a strong culture, clear focus, and deep commitment to our people and the relationships they hold.
“Foundation Home Loans has an excellent reputation and I’m looking forward to helping drive its next phase of growth across both specialist buy-to-let and residential lending.”
