Foundation Home Loans agrees deal with Brilliant Mortgage club

Foundation Home Loans has embarked upon a new relationship with Brilliant Solutions’ mortgage club.

Members of Brilliant Solutions’ mortgage club are now able to access Foundation’s range of specialist buy-to-let products including a range of solutions for portfolio and limited company applicants.

Brilliant Solutions offers a direct-to-lender submission service for members. It also offers lending solutions for brokers in other sectors such as bridging finance, secured loans, residential, commercial mortgages and debt solutions.

Foundation’s range of buy-to-let criteria currently includes 80% LTV for those who are purchasing or refinancing through a limited company, an ICR of 125% of the pay rate for five-year fixed rates, no maximum client age, acceptance of newly-incorporated limited companies, and a maximum loan size of £1.5m.

Jeff Knight, director of marketing at Foundation Home Loans, said: “Brilliant Solutions has a reputation for quality and we’re aware they are growing their resources and proposition in order to support their advisers.

“By working together, we can ensure their members have access to our excellent specialist buy-to-let products and services and our BDM team is looking forward to engaging with all Brilliant Solutions’ firms to ensure we can support their advice propositions.”

Matthew Arena, managing director of Brilliant Solutions, added: “Adding a quality lender like Foundation to our proposition is great news for us at the mortgage club and our member firms. The nature of the buy-to-let sector means that advisers and their landlord clients need lenders who fully understand the market and offer products, not just for individuals, but the increasing number of landlords using limited company vehicles.

“We fully anticipate further growth in the sector for the rest of the year and beyond, and we’ll be working closely with the Foundation team to help our members get the most out of this growth.”
