Former Sesame CEO joins RBS/NatWest

George Higginson has joined the RBS/NatWest mortgage business.

Higginson (pictured) was most recently CEO of Sesame Bankhall Group and was previously chief operating officer of the Intrinsic and Openwork networks.

Lloyd Cochrane, RBS director of mortgages and protection, said: “We are delighted to have George joining the team. His wealth of knowledge of the broker market in particular, will be invaluable in helping us achieve our ambitious plans to make home buying and ownership one of the signature experiences that RBS/NatWest is recognised for as being the market leader.”

“We are really pleased to have been able to bring George’s expertise to RBS/NatWest,” added Ian McLaughlin, managing director of specialist banking at RBS.

“He’ll play a key part  in us achieving our ambitions to be the number one choice for brokers and customers in the key need areas of buying a home and financial advice.”
