Fleet Mortgages has appointed Connells Survey & Valuation as its valuation panel manager.

Connells Survey & Valuation will work with Fleet Mortgages carrying out property valuations through its in-house personnel and its contracted panel of tightly-managed partner valuation firms.

Fleet Mortgages will lend exclusively through the intermediary sector initially offering buy-to-let mortgages for residential landlords as well as limited companies and those seeking finance for Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).

Bob Young, CEO of Fleet Mortgages, said: “We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Connells Survey & Valuation as Fleet Mortgages’ valuation panel manager. Connells’ expertise in this area is self-evident and it means they are in the best position possible to provide us with these services.

“In choosing Connells we have opted for a highly experienced and professional operation and one which has the quality of personnel and depth of resources to handle our needs. This is a particularly exciting time for everyone involved in Fleet Mortgages as we are very close to launching; we are extremely pleased to be working with our old friends at Connells and look forward to a strong and long-term relationship between the two businesses.”

Ross Bowen, managing director at Connells Survey & Valuation, said: “Fleet Mortgages’ journey has been impressive and the combination of its highly respected team and compelling proposition will undoubtedly result in the business quickly becoming a major force in the market.

“I am delighted that Connells has been appointed as Fleet Mortgages’ panel management partner and we can play a pivotal role in underpinning the business’ ongoing success.”
