Fleet joins Brilliant’s club panel

Published on

Brilliant Solutions has expanded its direct to lender buy-to-let lending panel with the addition of Fleet Mortgages.

The direct to lender mortgage club and specialist packager will offer brokers the ability to choose between the specialist packaging services it offers for ‘off High Street’ buy-to-let mortgages as well as offering brokers the ability to go to lenders directly for similar products.

The company is providing support for brokers regardless of which channel they select and identifies its ability to offer brokers freedom alongside total support as being one of its key services.

Bob Young, chief executive officer of Fleet Mortgages, said: “We are pleased to be joining Brilliant Solutions’ mortgage club panel. The specialist support it offers brokers, including the freedom to submit cases directly to the lender, is an important feature within the market as is its ‘Express Payment’ facility that pays brokers on completion.

“Our distribution strategy since launch has been based on working with quality distributors and we are pleased to continue this with by announcing our new relationship with Brilliant and its brokers. We are looking forward to working together in what is an incredibly exciting buy-to-let marketplace.”

Matthew Arena, managing director of Brilliant Solutions, added: “The addition of Fleet Mortgages will be a big benefit for our brokers who are particularly active in this sector.  This gives our brokers the ability to benefit from our expertise whilst having total freedom to submit cases through the channel that suits their needs the most.

“We have already seen the significant enhancements in the Fleet Mortgages’ range since its launch and thanks to its successful development over the last few months we are pleased that our brokers are now able to access their proposition.”

As a one off for Fleet Mortgages transactions only, Brilliant is opening up Fleet  Mortgages registrations to brokers who are not fully FCA authorised but are able to access Fleet Mortgages through their NACFB association and credit brokerage permissions.

Arena added: “We see a significant level of interest from brokers within this sector who would normally use packagers.  Thanks to Fleet Mortgages’ flexibility in this space and our due diligence systems we are able to grant these brokers direct to lender access via our club so the distribution opportunities are wider than the DA market we focus on.”
