Flat growth expected in Scotland

Prices of homes in Scotland are remaining stable, according to LSL Scotland.

It reported that that average price of property north of the border is £147,448.

Year on year, the house price decline slowed to -1.4% down from -1.5% last month.

Richard Sexton, director of e.surv chartered surveyors, said: “Prices haven’t dropped off a cliff and remain relatively stable. With inflation consistently breaching the 5% barrier
