First2Protect partners with OSL to broaden GI access

Published on

First2Protect has entered into a strategic partnership with OSL Financial Services, aimed at widening advisers’ access to general insurance through a newly launched digital portal.

The agreement will allow advisers to sell or refer general insurance products via the F2P Broker Portal, giving them a more streamlined route to offer protection alongside their core advice services.

Both firms say the partnership is intended to improve flexibility for advisers while ensuring clients receive cover that is aligned with their wider financial and property needs.

The portal provides access to a broad range of general insurance solutions, with the option for advisers to either transact directly or make referrals, depending on their permissions and business model.

The move reflects growing demand among advisers for integrated platforms that reduce administration while supporting compliant cross-selling.

Brian Coulton, business development director at First2Protect, said: “This partnership represents a significant step forward in delivering value to advisers and their clients.

“By working with OSL, we’re creating a streamlined process that makes it easier than ever for advisers to offer GI solutions confidently and efficiently.”

Michael O’Brien, chief operating officer at OSL Financial Services, said the collaboration was built around shared priorities.

He added: “We’re thrilled to join forces with F2P. Our shared commitment to innovation and adviser support means this partnership will deliver practical tools and resources that help advisers grow their business while meeting client needs.”
