First Complete unveils mortgage forums

Published on

First Complete is launching a series of mortgage forums around the country for all of its Appointed Representatives (ARs) this week.

The firms explained that the mortgage forums will take place in conjunction with nine lenders and will share information on the Mortgage Credit Directive and the state of the mortgage market.

First Complete said the forums will take a predominantly roundtable format as ARs have requested more face-to-face time with the different lenders to discuss their individual experiences and find out how best to work with them.

The mortgage forums are being run by First Complete’s mortgage manager Karen Hedges, who will talk to the brokers about the current state of the mortgage market, what First Complete expect to happen for the rest of the year and the steps that First Complete is taking to ensure that its ARs are kept up-to-date on everything from market developments to the Mortgage Credit Directive.

The mortgage forums are taking place in nine locations around the country over the next two weeks:

  • 15 September: London
  • 16 September: Belfast
  • 17 September: Glasgow
  • 22 September: Yorkshire
  • 23 September: North East
  • 29 September: North West
  • 30 September: Midlands
  • 8 October: South West

Toni Smith, sales operations director at First Complete, said: “We run dedicated mortgage forums twice a year in addition to our quarterly business seminars and annual conference.  The mortgage forums provide our ARs with dedicated time with some of our key lenders.

“It is an opportunity to update the whole network on key developments in the mortgage market and share best practice. It also provides brokers with a firsthand opportunity to ask questions and find out what First Complete is doing to help make their mortgage practices more successful.”
