This week sees First Complete beginning its annual series of Kick Off meetings across the country.

The meetings are for the firm’s appointed representatives (ARs) and will look at the market as well as the regulatory landscape. They will give an opportunity for brokers to hear from lender and provider partners about what they can expect to see this year.

In addition, Richard Coulson, First Complete’s business development director, will highlight the business’s strategy for the year and share details of what additional added value it will aim to bring to members.

TSB, which is launching its intermediary proposition this month, will be present for the first time, giving details of its new offering and how First Complete brokers can use it with their clients.

Myhomemove recently joined First Complete’s conveyancing panel and will be presenting its new conveyancing proposition for the first time to First Complete ARs.

In addition to TSB and myhomemove, brokers will get to meet and hear from Lloyds Banking Group, protection provider Friends Life, as well as spend time with the other protection providers and lenders on the First Complete panel.

Finally, First Complete’s compliance operations director, Donald Fraser, will have senior members of the field compliance team talking about developments in the consumer credit space, working with the regulator, mortgage business quality and the compliance landscape for 2015.

Toni Smith, sales operations director at First Complete, said: “The kick off meetings help our brokers to really focus on the year ahead, not only on the opportunities but also the challenges they may face. We aim to make sure they have the right structure in place in their businesses and the right know-how to deal with anything they may face.

“This is also an opportunity to share our plans and strategies for the year and how our AR businesses will benefit as a result. First Complete’s regional sales directors will also be recognising excellence within their respective regions.”

The meetings will be held in:

14 January – Northern Ireland
15 January – Glasgow
20 January – North West
22 January – North East & Yorkshire
27 January – London
29 January – Midlands
