Carly McCormick, formerly marketing manager for the Economist has joined First Complete and Pink as marketing operations manager.

She is tasked with expanding customer facing communications and financial promotional materials for brokers that use the LSL brands, as well as having a major role in brokers’ online interaction with their clients.

In the newly created role the marketing operations manager will oversee First Complete and Pink’s event and communications programme. McCormick will be producing customer-facing communications for brokers to use with their clients as well as frequent, timely and compliant social media content for the first time.

She will report to Toni Smith, sales operations director for First Complete and Pink, who said: “Carly has an outstanding track record of experience in both social media and events, while her copywriting is superb.

“Our brokers have been calling out for measured, compliant social media updates that they can send to their clients for some time so Carly’s appointment will make a real difference to their interaction with their clients. This should improve customer engagement and help brokers both retain existing clients and acquire new ones.”

McCormick added: “First Complete and Pink are well respected and rapidly expanding networks and the opportunity to work with them was too good to miss. Social media is definitely the communication medium of the future so it is essential that we do everything that we can to help brokers adopt this and engage the next generation of borrowers as well as providing a new method of communication with existing ones.”
