First adviser transfers from Just Mortgages to Just Wealth

Published on

Just Wealth, the financial advice arm of national brokerage Just Mortgages, has announced that Graeme Moorhouse has become the first adviser to transfer from Just Mortgages to Just Wealth.

Moorhouse moves from Just Mortgages’ self-employed division, where he built Moorhouse Finance, a mortgage advice business in the West Midlands.

His career began with deVere Group in Spain, booking appointments for financial advisers as a wealth co-ordinator. After securing his qualifications, he returned to the UK and joined Future Perfect, an Openwork practice, where he initially worked as a mortgage and protection adviser before progressing to financial advice.

EXPANDING SERVICES

With a background in wealth advice and the opportunity to establish a new referral proposition, Moorhouse approached Just Wealth to make the transition. Now operating under two trading styles, he is able to support clients with financial planning needs, including pensions, savings, and investments, alongside mortgage and protection advice.

The move marks the first time an adviser from Just Mortgages has transferred to Just Wealth, highlighting the career development opportunities available within the organisation. Just Mortgages already provides pathways for brokers to move from employed roles to self-employment and business ownership, and this appointment demonstrates a route into broader financial advice.

Just Wealth advisers work closely with brokers at Just Mortgages to provide financial planning support for clients. Through the Just Refer portal, brokers can introduce clients to Just Wealth advisers for assistance with pensions, investments, and protection, as well as referring them to qualified brokers for equity release, commercial finance, or business protection.

PLANS FOR GROWTH

Moorhouse said he welcomed the opportunity to develop his business further under Just Wealth.

“I’m really pleased to be taking my next steps with Just Mortgages and to be offering wealth advice with the support of Just Wealth. Having really enjoyed growing Moorhouse Finance, the opportunity to challenge myself and to grow this new referral proposition was one I couldn’t pass up,” he said.

“The support of the network and Just Mortgages throughout this process has been fantastic, working together to overcome any issues and provide support where needed.

“I already have big plans to expand the business in 2025, with a protection-only adviser now in place and both a wealth and mortgage adviser coming on board too. For others considering the move into wealth, don’t do it all by yourself—use all the help that is available. As I grow my wealth business, it’s a real encouragement to know the support will be there, as it has with everything else.”

John Phillips, CEO of Just Mortgages and Spicerhaart, said the move demonstrates the opportunities available for advisers within the wider organisation.

“While people may think of Just Mortgages as simply a brokerage, there is certainly a lot more to it. Graeme’s transfer to Just Wealth is a great example, not just demonstrating the fantastic talent found within the organisation, but the broad opportunities available to fulfil your potential and achieve your goals.

“Whether it’s shifting from employed to self-employed, moving into management, or indeed a shift into wealth advice, the pathways and support exist to enable ambitious advisers to develop, scale, and succeed.”
