Finova teams up with Covecta to add agentic AI to lending platforms

Published on

Finova has struck a partnership with AI specialist Covecta aimed at embedding agentic artificial intelligence into lending and broker technology used across the UK market.

The provider of cloud-based mortgage, savings and lending software, said it will integrate Covecta’s AI engine into its product suite, starting with new support agent capabilities across its lending and broker platforms.

The move forms part of Finova’s wider technology roadmap, focused on using automation and emerging technologies to help lenders, brokers and financial institutions streamline routine processes, improve efficiency and enhance customer outcomes.

Covecta builds configurable AI agents and workflows designed specifically for banks, building societies and specialist lenders. Its platform combines enterprise search with task-focused agents that operate across front, middle and back-office functions, allowing institutions to automate workflows, support due diligence, monitor portfolios and access enterprise and market data in real time.

By integrating Covecta’s agentic AI capabilities, Finova said customers will be able to offer a more responsive and intelligent user experience, while enabling teams to focus on higher-value decisions and customer relationships.

The partnership follows Finova’s continued investment in automation, decisioning and open ecosystem partnerships across the mortgage and savings sectors.

Rowan Clayton, chief product officer at Finova, said: “At Finova, we’re committed to helping lenders and brokers embrace emerging technologies in ways that drive tangible business value.

“Our partnership with Covecta represents a major step forward in that journey — bringing next-generation AI capabilities directly into our platforms to support day-to-day operations, accelerate productivity, and enhance the customer experience.”

Scott Wilson, founder and chief executive at Covecta, said: “Covecta was built to supercharge productivity in financial services by combining enterprise-grade AI with domain-specific expertise.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Finova to bring our agentic AI to a broader ecosystem of lenders and brokers, enabling teams to automate the mundane, simplify the complex, and work with superhuman foresight.”
