Finova strengthens leadership team with chief delivery officer appointment

Finova has appointed Anja Schneider as chief delivery officer as the cloud-based mortgage and savings software provider looks to sharpen execution and support its expanding client base.

The technology firm, which supplies mortgage, savings and lending software to UK financial institutions, said Schneider will lead a newly established delivery function focused on implementation, onboarding and long-term platform adoption.

Schneider (pictured) joins with more than 20 years’ experience overseeing delivery organisations and complex technology programmes, including 15 years in financial services across product and consultancy roles.

She previously held senior positions at Thought Machine and GFT Financial.

At Finova, she will be tasked with building the structures, processes and teams required to deliver projects consistently as the business grows.

The company said her remit will centre on quality, accountability and efficiency as clients bring new products to market and adapt to regulatory change.

Her arrival follows other recent senior appointments, including Daniel Broadhurst as commercial director and David Espley as chief technology officer, as Finova continues to invest in product, delivery and commercial capabilities.

Schneider said: “Finova is at such an exciting stage in its journey, and I couldn’t think of a better time to come onboard.

“The company has all the right ingredients: market-leading technology, strong client partnerships, and a clear vision for the future.

“My focus will be on ensuring our clients have complete confidence in our ability to deliver, helping lenders bring products to market efficiently, respond to regulatory change with certainty, and rely on systems that perform at scale.

“Consistent, high-quality execution will be at the heart of everything we do.”

Gareth Richardson, chief executive of Finova, added: “Anja’s track record speaks for itself. She brings a rare combination of disciplined delivery, financial services experience, and a sharp focus on client outcomes.

“As we scale Finova’s impact in the market, her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we deliver on our promises and continue to raise the bar for what clients expect from a technology partner.”
