FCS compliance: Free webinar on turning AML compliance into a business asset

Published on

FCS Compliance has announced a new addition to its popular series of anti-money laundering (AML) webinars, specifically tailored for property professionals – including mortgage brokers.

The free online session, titled “Protecting your reputation – How anti-money laundering legislation can win you clients – or lose them”, will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, 11 June.

It will be led by Stephen Williamson (main picture), Lead AML Consultant for FCS Compliance’s Property Division.

Aimed at estate agents, property managers and other industry stakeholders, the hour-long webinar promises to go beyond the regulatory basics to show how AML compliance can be a competitive advantage in today’s market.

AML BUSINESS BENEFITS

Williamson says: “We all know that meeting AML obligations is essential. But we also recognise that the AML process can feel onerous and at times overwhelming.

“This webinar aims to readdress the balance by demonstrating the benefits AML can bring to your business.”

The session will explore:
  • How to explain AML processes to clients in a clear, non-alarming way
  • The power of due diligence in building trust rather than deterring prospects
  • Ready-to-use scripts and marketing tips to communicate AML credentials
  • Case studies showing how AML has directly supported business growth
  • Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the FCS Compliance team.

The webinar is the latest effort by FCS Compliance to support the property sector amid growing regulatory scrutiny and heightened public awareness around financial crime.

With enforcement action on the rise and consumer trust at a premium, the firm’s proactive approach to education has been welcomed across the industry.

Registration is open now, and places are expected to fill quickly.
