John Prust has joined LendInvest as head of sales and marketing for its lending products.

Prust, a well-known figure in the specialist lending market, has over 25 years experience in the mortgage industry.

His previous senior roles included being a director of the mortgage division of Lehman Brothers. For a decade prior to that, he was sales and marketing director of Southern Pacific Mortgage Ltd (SPML).

Christian Faes, LendInvest CEO, said: “We’re very excited to welcome John to the LendInvest team. He brings with him significant experience in running sales and marketing teams, and has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to mapping out successful strategies for distribution.

“We have a big appetite to lend in this market, and this hire will greatly expand our bandwidth and focus our strategy for doing so.”

Prust added: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining LendInvest. They are market leading, dynamic and a very exciting business to be part of. What LendInvest are doing is something that is genuinely very different.

“In my view they are unquestionably the most innovative lender in the UK mortgage market, and are building a platform that will change the way lending is done in this country.”
