Engage Mutual has appointed Liz Timms as its commercial sales manager.

She is tasked with heading up key and national adviser accounts for the over-50s life cover specialist.

Timms joins the company from Partnership where she was head of strategic sales operations.

She worked for Aviva for 25 years and her roles included head of regulated sales training and head of key accounts before moving to Liverpool Victoria (LV) as head of sales in 2010. Latterly she was appointed director of sales for Scottish and Southern Energy.

Timms said: “I’m delighted to be joining Engage as I firmly believe mutuals are where financial services can make a real difference in terms of products and the brand.

“It’s also a very exciting time to come on board with the proposed merger with Family Investments.”

Engage Mutual’s sales director Stuart Tragheim added: “It’s great to have Liz joining the team at what is such a busy and crucial time for Engage.

“I know our adviser community will enjoy working with her and will benefit from the immense expertise and experience she will bring to the role.”
