E.surv becomes Darlington BS’s new lead valuation partner

Published on

E.surv Chartered Surveyors, the surveying business of the LSL Property Services Group, has entered into a new relationship with the Darlington Building Society, providing residential valuations and property advice services to the North East based lender.

E.surv had previously worked with the Society as a panel member for many years, but will now assume responsibility for all valuations requirements, as sole panel manager.

In addition to valuation distribution and quality management, the Society will also receive support from the valuer in respect of specific sectors such as new build and self build applications.

Louise Lord, head of lending for the Darlington, said: “We have been impressed by the ‘added value’ elements of the e.surv proposition and are confident the relationship will deliver a number of process efficiencies to support our members and intermediary partners.”

Richard Sexton (pictured), e.surv’s director of business development, added: “We are extremely pleased to have been appointed by the Society – we thought long and hard about the specialisms the Society has as well as the importance of the focus upon the Society’s heartland, when building our Darlington proposition.

“We look forward to helping further develop ‘best practice’ in respect of valuations with the Society as we move forward together.”
