Dudley Building Society joins Mortgage Intelligence lender panel

Dudley Building Society has joined the lender panel of Mortgage Intelligence, expanding the network’s offering to brokers handling complex mortgage cases.

The new partnership brings the mutual’s full range of specialist products to members, reinforcing the its commitment to supporting borrowers outside traditional criteria.

The move comes as Dudley Building Society seeks to deepen its relationships with intermediaries and extend its reach to more borrowers whose circumstances may not align with standard lending models. The society is known for its flexible underwriting and focus on underserved segments, including expats, self-employed applicants, and those seeking finance into or beyond retirement.

Robert Oliver

Robert Oliver, distribution director at Dudley Building Society, said: “Mortgage Intelligence has an outstanding reputation for working in tandem with advisers and really understanding the challenges they face. Joining their panel gives us the chance to support more of those brokers with cases that don’t always fit neatly into standard criteria.

“We’ve always focused on borrowers who sit outside the mainstream, and this partnership is another way for us to help advisers find a way forward for clients who might otherwise be overlooked.”

RECENT REFRESH

The society has recently refreshed its product line-up, including reductions in selected discounted rates across its specialist lending range. It has also launched new five-year fixed products for residential, buy-to-let and holiday let borrowing. Its wider lending criteria includes consideration for non-standard construction, self-build projects, and holiday lets, broadening appeal to niche segments.

Graham Wood, head of products and partnerships at Mortgage Intelligence, welcomed the addition. “We’re delighted to welcome Dudley Building Society to our lender panel,” he said. “The focus on real people, niche solutions, and a truly personal approach to lending aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting advisers and their clients.

“In a market that continues to evolve, partnering with a specialist lender like Dudley offers our members even greater access to flexible, tailored mortgage solutions that make a real difference.”
