Dragonfly hires pair of credit managers

Dragonfly Property Finance has recruited Dan Thorne and Edward Macan as credit managers.

Thorne joins the short-term lender with over 10 years’ experience in financial services, most recently at Bluestone Mortgages as a mortgage underwriter. He has also worked for Metro Bank a similar role.

Before joining Dragonfly, Macan worked for property finance provider, Regentsmead, in London as a Loans Executive.

Mark Posniak, managing director of Dragonfly Property Finance, said: “As our default rate of less than 0.1% on over £2bn of loans hopefully shows, we take risk very seriously at Dragonfly. In our current rapid growth stage, ensuring our underwriting remains as robust as ever is key and that’s where Ed and Dan come in.

“They’re not just experienced and knowledgeable but share the one thing we value above all at Dragonfly: a keen nose for risk.”
