Dragonfly expands BDM team

Dragonfly Property Finance has added two more external business development managers (BDMs) to its team.

Liam Lawlor joins Dragonfly from Metro Bank in London, where he worked as a BDM for three years. Prior to that he worked for HSBC and St James’s Place in a number of client-facing roles.

Daniel Murray joined Dragonfly as a BDM in March 2015. He has now been promoted to BDM (east region), covering some of the lender’s larger introducers across Essex, Suffolk and the major hubs north of London.

D’mitri Zaprzala, head of sales at Dragonfly Property Finance, said: “Daniel has had a massive impact since his arrival and has really helped develop the business internally. His promotion was well deserved and I have no doubt he will add considerable value for our introducer base.

“Liam’s industry experience will also strengthen our broker relationships and bring new insights to the way we work and the processes we have in place. It’s an exciting start to 2016.”

“Since I joined Dragonfly last year I have learnt so much about the industry,” said Murray. “What I especially like is the way we are allowed to be really flexible with our products and how they are structured. As a result, I am constantly learning something new and expanding my knowledge.

“I have really enjoyed the journey so far but it’s a journey that is far from finished.”

Lawlor added: “When I was introduced to Dragonfly, I was hugely impressed by what they had achieved in such a short space of time. Its future growth plans really appealed to me as they showed there’s plenty of room for career progression.

“The people working here are great, hard work is rewarded and under Mark Posniak’s leadership I have no doubt that the success story will continue.”
