Cynergy Business Finance appoints new corporate sales director

Asset-based lending specialist, Cynergy Business Finance (CBF), has added to its team with the appointment of Dave Green as corporate sales director.

Green (pictured), a well-known business finance professional in the North West, brings almost 25 years of experience within the asset-based lending sector, having previously worked as a business development manager for nearly 15 years at RBS Invoice Finance, where he was one of the business’ top performers.

He joins Manchester-headquartered CBF from Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance, where he worked as regional sales director for almost a decade. Green was one of the founding members of Secure Trust Bank’s asset-based lending arm, and has built a reputation for sponsor-backed transactions.

With CBF’s customer base continually expanding, Green will utilise his experience in sponsor-backed deals to help diversify CBF’s customer portfolio. Green will also bring significant business operations experience to support CBF’s continued growth in the asset-based lending sector.

Green said: “CBF has really established itself as an ABL leader within a relatively short time period, building a strong client base and offering an exciting market proposition, so it is a great opportunity to be joining the team as it grows.

“With the team having built a reputation for larger deals with sponsors, I’ll be particularly focused on driving this forward, helping to diversify CBF’s client base. I’m looking forward to settling into the role and working with Dan and the team to continue growing this ambitious business funding provider.”

Dan Burton, executive director at Cynergy Business Finance, added: “Dave brings with him a wealth of expertise with sponsor-backed deals, which is something that we’ve already built a strong reputation for in the sector. Dave’s experience on these deals will be invaluable to the team, allowing us to continue growing as a business and create more variety in terms of the deal structure and size we work on.

“It’s undoubtedly an exciting time for CBF as we continue to grow both the number of customers we support, along with bolstering our team in the process. We’re looking forward to working closely with Dave and he will be a great addition to the CBF team.”
