Paul Chapman

Countrywide Surveying Services has appointed Paul Chapman as managing director.

Chapman (pictured) joined Countrywide Surveying Services in December 2011 as head of field operations, tasked with maximising the operational efficiency of the group’s surveying workforce and assisting with the development of new products and services for Countrywide’s client base.

He has previously held management posts at Colleys Surveyors within Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). As managing director, Chapman will have sole responsibility for the division and he will report directly to Paul Creffield, corporate operations director at Countrywide.

Creffield said: “Over the last two years, we have focused on the development of our proposition and our services and as a result, Countrywide Surveying Services has performed extremely well.

“As the business continues to grow at a significant pace, it is important that we continue to strengthen the management team and ensure the right people are in place to support that growth.

“Since joining, Paul Chapman has assisted the Board in securing new client wins, expressing strong determination into the development and strengthening of Countrywide’s offering. I have been impressed by Paul’s commitment in driving the business forward and I am delighted to announce his appointment as managing director of Countrywide Surveying Services.”

“Now responsible for nearly a third of all residential mortgage valuations across the UK, Countrywide Surveying Services has gone from strength to strength over the years,” said Chapman.

“I am delighted to be appointed Managing Director of Countrywide Surveying Services and I look forward to exploring the opportunities for further business growth and success.”
