Cornerstone Finance adopts Acre’s mortgage platform

Cornerstone Finance has become the latest large brokerage to go live with Acre’s platform to manage its entire mortgage process end-to-end.

Cardiff-based Cornerstone Finance will digitally transform the way they do business and serve clients by using Acre’s technology.

Cornerstone Finance Group’s network handles a large and complex caseload of mortgage and protection advice. Acre’s platform will help the firm to streamline the management of the business by bringing elements such as a standard advice process, compliance, broker communications, management of ARs, reporting, accounting, and regulatory filings all into one central place.

Its brokers can save admin time on fact finds, paperwork and re-keying case data and more time helping clients to source and close the best deals.

Another deciding factor in choosing Acre was the platform’s ability to handle all of Cornerstone’s compliance needs for the 100-strong network of financial advisers. The digital intermediaries platform reduces the network’s risk by providing integrated workflows that simplify the back-and-forth between case checkers and advisors. Its unchangeable action records that record the history and source of each data point securely..

Templated disclosure and reasons-why documents are automatically generated and kept in sync with the case record, removing a common point of failure.

Michael Wayman, CEO of Cornerstone Finance Group, said: “We’ve built our business on delivering a great service to both our Appointed Representatives and their clients, providing fast and friendly advice and speedy lending decisions. Adopting Acre’s platform means we can take a modern, tech-driven approach that represents the future of our industry.

“We can give our brokers more breathing room to listen to clients, facilitate better management of cases and get people their dream home. What’s even better is that all the admin are taken care of by Acre’s tech – the compliance, the accounting and more. It’s an exciting time for our business.”

Justus Brown, Acre’s founder and CEO, added: “We welcome Cornerstone Finance Group into our growing network of brokers using our platform. Such a prominent network choosing Acre as their technology partner demonstrates that our platform is able to support the advice journey for even the most complex organisations.”
