Conveybuddy appoints new senior account manager

Conveyancing distributor conveybuddy has announced the appointment of Rachel Payne as senior account manager.

Payne (pictured), who is returning to the sector following maternity leave, brings close to a decade’s experience in the conveyancing distribution market.

In her new role, she will be responsible for providing direct support to firms and helping them access tailored conveyancing and surveying services through conveybuddy’s panel of law firms and its survey partner, The Moving Portal.

Launched in 2024, conveybuddy positions itself as a tech-enabled panel management provider with a focus on transparency and broker service. The firm’s proposition covers sale, purchase and remortgage – including an all-inclusive option – along with survey provision. Its leadership team brings more than 60 years’ combined industry experience to the offering.

Harpal Singh, chief executive of conveybuddy, said: “Rachel is highly regarded in the industry and brings a wealth of experience to the team.

“Her understanding of broker needs and her track record of delivering consistent support is already a real asset as we develop our proposition. We’re very pleased to welcome her to conveybuddy.”

Payne said she was looking forward to reconnecting with brokers and introducers. “I’m excited to return to the industry with conveybuddy,” she said.

“The company’s focus on transparency and service aligns with the values I’ve always brought to my work. I’m looking forward to helping firms secure a better conveyancing experience for their clients.”
