Conveyancing Foundation reveals next charity fundraiser

Published on

The Conveyancing Foundation Charity has revealed that it raised over £10,000 for the Shelter Cymru housing charity during ‘Ride to the Rugby’.

This saw Geraint Aubrey, Rob Hosier, George Shirlaw and Rory Brown all cycling from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, with former Welsh rugby international Colin Charvis, to watch Wales v Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

They cycled over 200 miles over three days in adverse weather conditions to achieve their goal.

The next charity cycle is a 255-mile ride from Cardiff to Colchester in aid of the Magic Moments Charity. Magic Moments raise funds for terminally ill children to enjoy trips to Disneyland Paris. Last year the charity raised over £60,000 from a London to Brighton Cycle.

The cycle will be over three sections: Cardiff to Bath – 21st April, Bath to Clapham Common – 22nd April and Clapham Common to Colchester – 23rd April. The Conveyancing Foundation is hoping to raise over £10,000 for the Magic Moments Charity.

Conveyancing Foundation supporters, Lloyd Davies, Rob Hosier and Geraint Aubrey will be cycling the whole 255 miles, while other members are taking part in the 63-mile Cardiff to Bath leg.

The Conveyancing Foundation will soon be launching details of its major fundraising event of 2016, The Three Peaks UK Challenge. An invitation to the whole of the conveyancing industry will go out within the next few weeks, to engage all industry stakeholders in what could be the biggest conveyancing fundraising event ever undertaken. Participants will trek up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – all within 24 hours.

The challenge will take place over the weekend of 16th – 18th September. Anyone can take part, with funds being raised for the Children with Cancer UK Charity.
