Connect Mortgages partners with Buy2Let.com

Buy2Let.com, a property search portal for the buy-to-let market has teamed up with specialist broker, Connect Mortgages, to help guide investors on their financial options.

Buy2Let.com, which launched in June, lists buy-to-let properties for sale with a yield search option, attracting property investors from both the UK and overseas.

Connect Mortgages is offering buy-to-let financial guidance via the Buy2Let.com portal, as well as posting the latest mortgage products table, for easy comparison.

“We were keen to work with a partner to offer impartial advice and provide an up-to-date overview of the latest mortgage products available to investors, as we understand the cost of financing is certainly a factor for many buy-to-let landlords,” sad Martin Wilkinson, founder of Buy2Let.com.

“The buy-to-let market continues to grow, with high demand for rental properties, and improved mortgage lending, landlords are seeing some great return for their investment.

“Having Connect Mortgages on the portal allows us to offer investors additional key information, as well as offering them the option to search and compare all our property by prices and rental yield, so we are delighted to have them on board as our financial partners.”

Liz Syms, managing director of Connect Mortgages, said: “We have been offering specialist financial advice to home buyers and property investors for nearly 18 years, and the buy-to-let market is one which has been central to our business. More recently, especially as the market has recovered, and pension freedoms have come into play, we are seeing high demand for finance on more complex properties such as HMO, refurbishments, semi commercial and auction purchases.

“We are also responding to investors growing appetite to release funds from their existing properties to help grow their portfolio.

“With such a strong market, I can see the need for a portal like Buy2Let.com, to steer investors towards genuine opportunities, and our service is there to support them with crucial financial information, so they can make prompt decisions on potential investment opportunities.”
