Connect Mortgages has appointed Ceta Insurance to its panel of general insurance providers.

The Specialist mortgage broker, which specialises in buy-to-let mortgages as well as a range of second charge, commercial, bridging and development lending decided to extend its GI proposition because of Ceta’s extensive non-standard property insurance reach which is all available on its Infinity platform.

Liz Syms (pictured), Connect’s CEO, said: “Our advisers are very much specialists in property finance and as such need access to a suitable general insurance offering that supports this, we felt that Ceta was a good fit as it provides access to a large panel of specialist property insurance providers on their quick and easy infinity system without the need to refer.”

Kevin Paterson, director of sales and marketing at Ceta, added: “We are very excited to be working with Connect and feel that we will be able to support their specialist advisers with access to a leading panel of non-standard property insurance providers all available in one place on our quote, compare, click and buy Infinity platform.

“With non-standard now making up almost 30% of the UK property insurance market, getting access to a comprehensive solution that can quote across a range of more than 30 specialist risks is very important to professional intermediaries.”
