Co-op sees large rise in storm-related claims

The Co-operative Insurance has reported receiving more claims on 4 January than it would usually receive in the whole of January as a result of the storms which affected the UK.

The insurer is seeking to reassure customers that staff are on hand to help them repair damage to their properties and vehicles as quickly as possible.
