Clydesdale/Yorkshire banks lower FTB rates

Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks has published new lower rates for their range of first-time buyer mortgages.

They are also still offering a 95% LTV mortgage.

First time buyers can now see lower rates from 5.49% to 6.19%, including a fee free rate of 5.69% fixed for three years.

Steve Reid, retail director for Clydesdale Bank, said: “We know that buying your first home can be difficult and we are one of only a few lenders who remain committed to offering 95% LTV mortgages.
