Clydesdale Bank to cut rates and launch new purchase deals

Clydesdale Bank is reducing selected rates and launching new customer products.

The new products will be available from Friday 29 September.

The details are as follows:

New customer Exclusives:

  • New Professional Purchase only 85% LTV 2 Year Fixed Rate will be launched at 6.10%.
  • New Professional Purchase only 85% LTV 5 Year Fixed Rate will be launched at 5.29%.

These deals are available for loan sizes between £150,000 and £1m.

Large loan deals:

  • 65% LTV 2 Year Fixed rate will be reduced by 0.35%, to 5.53%.
  • 65% LTV 5 Year Fixed Rate will be reduced by 0.20% to 5.19%.
  • 75% LTV 2 and 5 year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.05%.

These deals are available for loan sizes between £1m and £2m.

New and existing customer products:

  • Professional 2 year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.10%, starting from 6.09%.
  • Selected Professional 5 year fixed rates will be reduced by 0.05%, starting from 5.35%.
  • Newly Qualified Professional 2 year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.25%, starting from 6.14%.
  • Newly Qualified Professional 5 year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.25%, starting from 5.55%.
  • Selected 2 year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.25%.
  • Selected 5 year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.25%.
