Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks will offer a fee-free mortgage offer from 11 June.

The Banks are waiving arrangement fees for customers looking to take a new mortgage or switching to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank before 14 July.

This offer represents a saving of £999 on the banks’ current mortgage arrangement fee.

First time buyers will also receive the fee free mortgage offer.

The banks have reduced their rates for first time buyer mortgages to 5.99% for a 95% loan-to-value mortgage and 4.99% for a 90% mortgage.

“At Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks we remain focused on offering a range of competitive products that meet the differing needs of our customers,” said Steve Reid (pictured), retail director for Clydesdale Bank.

“Our fee free mortgage offer is designed to help people find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs without having to pay an arrangement fee.”
