Secured loans master broker Clever Lending has appointed Steve Sanderson to expand into commercial and bridging finance.

Sanderson (pictured) joins from Brilliant Solutions and will build and managing key partner relationships with brokers and lenders.

He has also worked as a life insurance broker, a regulated mortgage broker and a property developer.

Sonny Gosai, sales and operations manager at Clever Lending, said: “It is a great pleasure to have Steve on board with Clever Lending.  His appointment enables us to grow as a company and enter these sectors of the market to enhance our distribution of specialist products to our brokers.

“He comes with a wealth of knowledge that will in turn ensure Clever Lending is the company of choice for brokers now and for the future.”

Sanderson added: “Having been a mortgage broker, I understand what brokers want from a packager when it comes to the more complex deals.  I am looking to build lasting relationships with brokers and lenders to support the continued growth of Clever Lending in these market sectors.  I am excited about the challenges that lie ahead.”
