Clayton Euro Risk has announced the appointed of Konstantine (Gus) Pastras to the newly created position of client development and strategy director.
Pastras (pictured) spent the majority of his career in residential mortgage-backed securities.He joined Fannie Mae in 1997, analysing the RMBS and mortgage markets in Washington DC. He worked in various roles in mortgage banking before joining Fitch Ratings in 2004 and then moving to Investec, where he analysed credit risk and cash-flows of mortgage portfolios. Most recently Pastras worked at DBRS Ratings as the vice-president of ABS & RMBS Structured Finance.
At CER, Pastras will be responsible for sales, client development and marketing activity. He will report into CEO, Michael Bolton.

He is a very successful structured finance professional and he brings a lot of very relevant experience in credit risk management and mortgage due diligence to the table – he’s a round peg in a round hole.
