Cirencester Friendly has created the brand new role of proposition manager as it embarks upon its major growth strategy.

The role will be taken on by Victoria Clark, who has been promoted from her current position of senior marketing executive.

Clark (pictured) has been with Cirencester Friendly for more than eight years. Starting out in the Customer Care team, Clark made the move into marketing in 2018 and has been involved in a wide range of adviser and member-facing projects, including onboarding new strategic partners and the new two-year short-term benefit option. she has also led on PR for the society.

In her new role, Clark will report into distribution director, Alan Waddington. Her responsibilities will include exploring new ideas and approaches around income protection, with the brief to make Cirencester Friendly’s proposition “the most compelling in the market”.

She said: “I can’t wait to get started on my new role. While I have loved my time working in marketing, the opportunity to face fresh challenges and use the knowledge and skills I’ve gained to enhance our proposition and make it the go-to choice is one I couldn’t turn down.

“Having worked closely with Alan in my previous role, I know how passionate he is about growing Cirencester and I’m looking forward to playing an active role achieving our growth objectives.”

Waddingham added: “Victoria was the natural choice for this new role. Over the past eight years, she has proved on numerous occasions that she can take on complex projects and deliver exceptional results. Her dedication and enthusiasm, not to her mention her knowledge of the product and the market, are huge assets for the task that lays ahead.

“As a brilliant communicator and highly respected figure both within the organisation and the wider sector, I have every faith that she will be successful in her new position, helping to take Cirencester Friendly to the next level.”
