CHL Mortgages hires Essex and East Anglia BDM

CHL Mortgages has appointed Shaun Persaud as its new business development manager (BDM) for Essex and East Anglia.

Persaud (pictured above) joins CHL Mortgages from Omega Commercial Solutions, where he worked as a broker.

He previously worked as a commercial broker at Go Finance and as a mortgage broker at Taylor Rose Financial Services, and has also spent time as a financial adviser.

His appointment brings the number of CHL’s sales team BDMs to six.

“I feel like my whole career has been building up to this point”

Persaud said: “I feel like my whole career has been building up to this point. I’m really looking forward to taking my previous experiences and things I’ve learnt along the way and applying them to a BDM role.

“I can’t wait to get out there, start building relationships and helping brokers grow their business with CHL Mortgages.”

Ross Turrell

Ross Turrell, CHL Mortgages’ commercial director, added: “Shaun brings a wealth of knowledge to the position which he’s gained from working in a number of different roles in financial services.

“It’s this well-rounded experience which will stand him in good stead and which I’m sure will go down very well with brokers looking for support with placing their cases.”
