Cherry signs up over 100 providers for new Provider Forum

Adviser forum, Cherry, says it has now registered more than 100 product and service providers to the new Provider Forum section of its site.

The Provider Forum is free for providers to join and forms part of cherry’s long-term objective of improving communication between advisers and providers. It gives providers the opportunity to communicate their propositions and, if desired, to engage directly with advisers within a dedicated area of the website. The adviser-only area of the cherry forum remains inaccessible to providers.

In addition, Cherry is working on the delivery of regular data reports that will enable providers to analyse and track market trends in real time.

Cherry recently joined The Mortgage Marketing Forum as a corporate member to support its work in improving communications between providers and advisers.

Donna Hopton, director at Cherry, said: “The cherry broker forum provides a secure environment within which advisers can share their thoughts, frustrations and thoughts on best practice. It’s only available to brokers, but we’ve always known there was more we could do to improve communications between providers and advisers and we are working very hard to deliver this.

“With this in mind, we launched the Provider Forum and we already have more than 100 providers registered. Really effective communication needs to be two-way, so we encourage advisers as well as providers to use the Provider Forums to raise issues that they feel are important and which they feel the providers need to address.

“The vast amount of activity on the adviser forum means we have a unique understanding of real-time issues and difficulties which advisers are facing. This can provide valuable data for providers and the new Provider Forum provides a channel by which they can communicate directly with the broker members of the forum.”
