Charles Derby unveils estate agency franchise programme

Charles Derby is launching an estate agency franchise throughout the UK.

The firm, which currently consists of 400 financial advisers, is looking to expand its operations in the estate agency and letting sector.

It is planning to open 100 franchises by the end of 2013 and aims to add a further 100 within the next four years of launching the franchise.

Aimed at existing mortgage and financial advisers, the firm will offer a training programme, support and on-going development to its franchisees.

Anna Bartholomew, managing director, said: “A variety of premises will be available in locations across the country and franchisees will be offered three ownership options, a including a master franchise contract, a joint venture franchise with Charles Derby or a joint venture with a negotiator.

“We are incredibly excited about Charles Derby Estates, we have experience in building a fast growing and successful business and have no doubt that over the next few years Charles Derby Estates will grow to become a major presence in the industry and a business which our agents are proud to call their own.”
