Butterfield Mortgages hires relationship manager

Butterfield Mortgages Ltd (BML) has appointed Radhika Madar has joined BML as relationship manager.

She joins the bespoke provider of standalone mortgages for high net worth individuals in prime residential London and the UK Home Counties, with a 10-year career, which has involved working in many aspects of private client advice, including that covering real estate, client acquisition, and risk and compliance.

Most recently, she worked as a specialist in real estate finance at Enness Mortgages, which she joined in November 2016 after working as an associate partner at St James’s Place Wealth Management (Asia), advising individuals living in Singapore.

Before that, her career involved working for both Barclays Wealth and Lloyds Banking Group.

Alpa Bhakta, chief executive officer of BML, said: “We are delighted to welcome Radhika to BML. The depth of knowledge and experience that she brings to the role of relationship manager will be of enormous benefit to our clients.

“Radhika’s appointment will greatly help in our plans to expand our presence as a leading firm in the prime mortgage market.”
