Brilliant Solutions appoints intermediary sales head

Published on

Brilliant Solutions has announced the expansion of its broker support team with two appointments in its sales and commercial divisions, including the appointment of a new head of intermediary sales.

The mortgage club and specialist mortgage packager has recruited Laura Davies as a new commercial specialist.  She has over six years in the commercial sector dealing with both providers and brokers across the UK.

Meanwhile, Michael Craig has been hired as head of intermediary sales. Craig, who has previously worked in the specialist mortgage sector for a number of years, will be responsible for supporting key accounts and managing the sales activity within the business.

Matthew Arena, Brilliant Solutions’ managing director, said: “The market as a whole is experiencing significant growth in the both the specialist buy-to-let and the commercial mortgage sectors and we are no exception.  These experienced appointments give us an excellent platform to further improve our excellent support to brokers and continue to grow as a business.  We are constantly recruiting at the moment, it’s a great period for the business and we are improving our team and our support all of the time.

“Brokers are finding it tougher to get any non-standard deals through and the post-MMR process is taking longer, there is no doubt that this is resulting in a greater demand for our services which is why we are expanding our team and increasing the level of support offered.”
