Brightstar Financial has recruited Michelle Westley as its first national account manager.

She will provide onsite support for Brightstar’s major introducers.

Westley joins from performance improvement agency Grass Roots where she designed employee incentive recognition solutions for large corporations such as Asda, O2, Blackberry and A-Plan among others.

Previous experience includes business development in a field role for Enterprise Group and roles at igroup and Commercial First.

Brighstar’s CEO Rob Jupp believes that Westley appointment will help build on specialist lending intermediary hub’s growing success among the intermediary community.

He said” “We are delighted to have someone of Michelle’s experience to look after the needs of our introducers in the field. Michelle comes to us with a background focused on providing service solutions both inside and outside the financial services industry.

“I have no doubt she will be a great asset to Brightstar and our introducers will benefit from having such an experienced individual working with them directly.”

Westley added: “I’m looking forward to working with Brightstar’s brokers and visiting them on their home ground. It will add a new dimension to the service we deliver.

“Brightstar has been hugely successful in building business relationships with the broker community and with Brightstar’s broad portfolio of products and services, my role is to offer face-to-face support as well as help develop new business sources and switch them on to the Brightstar experience.”
