Bridging Finance Solutions outlines growth plans

Bridging Finance Solutions (BFS) has revealed plans to expand by a further 25% in 2024, following 12 months that saw similar levels of growth.

The Wirral based specialist lender, now in its 18th year of operation, currently employs a team of 25; under the latest growth plans, the firm expects to take on an additional 17 staff in the coming two to three years, including five apprentices.

Next year, the company is planning to invest around £2 million into an expansion programme of its Wirral based headquarters, retaining its original base whilst purchasing, demolishing and developing adjacent properties alongside reconfiguring the existing buildings. The firm sees this move as key to its wider expansion plans and provides the foundations on which to build.

Steve Barber (pictured), managing director of BFS, said: “This has been a great year for the business and we are realising our target of year on year 25% growth.

“We continue to focus on specific areas of the market including development finance, loans under £2million in value. We are gaining increased traction and momentum in these key areas and are increasingly being perceived as the go to short term lender for this specific customer profile.

“In order to grow we recognise that we must invest in our people and our infrastructure. We continue to appoint strategically and have made a considerable investment in our headquarters to give us the best space and place from which to grow and flourish.

“Next year will be particularly exciting as our new offices take shape and we welcome new additions to the team whilst strengthening our client base and professional network. We are proud of our ongoing efforts in helping put the North West on the map in terms of short term specialist lending.”
