Paul Goodman of Goodman Corporate Consultancy and Debbie Lloyd from Business Loans 4 U, have been selected as the winners of Bridgebank Capital’s Broker of the Month and Deal of the Month awards for November 2013.

The bridging lender said Goodman was selected as the winner of the ‘Broker of the Month’ award in recognition of the support and commitment that he has demonstrated to completing business with Bridgebank Capital throughout the month.

He said: “It is refreshing to work with Bridgebank Capital who as a lender deliver what they say they are going to deliver, when they say they are going to deliver.

“The whole team are very professional in their approach and always take ownership of a case. When working with Bridgebank Capital, I can rest assured that my client is in good hands.”

Lloyd received the ‘Deal of the Month’ award in relation to a recent loan completion that progressed from application through to drawdown in five days as required by the borrower. Bridgebank Capital said the “in depth application information and ongoing communication provided by Debbie ensured that deal was completed without delay and in line with the borrower’s requirements”.

She said: “Our client, a portfolio landlord, required £80,000 to refurbish and modernise two properties in readiness for a 12 month company let commencing mid January 2014.

“The timescales were critical, and funds were required within a week in order to pay contractors and purchase materials. From the date we submitted the application form to the funds being drawndown took 5 days which included carrying out a valuation on the properties and the legals.

We were impressed with the speed and communications provided by Bridgebank Capital and their lawyers. Our client was so over the moon with the results that they have already referred two other businesses and their company accountants to us.”

The couple were presented with an acrylic tombstone award and Voucher Express shopping vouchers to the value of £500.
