Bridgebank Capital has revealed the first successful winners of its Broker of the Month and Deal of the Month awards to be presented for June 2013.

The Deal of the Month award which is presented in relation to one specific completed loan advance and recognises the contribution made by the broker in relation to the successful completion has been awarded to Chris Pedlar of Brytannic Extra Finance Ltd.

Pedlar has received this award in relation to a recent loan completion for which he worked with Bridgebank Capital to progress the initial enquiry through to completion within two weeks to fulfil the borrower requirements. Bridgebank said the high standard of communication and detailed information provided by Pedlar ensured that this deal was completed without unnecessary delay.

Pedlar said: “I approached Carl Graham our relationship BDM at Bridgebank regarding a bridging loan for a client who had recently inherited their late mother’s property. The client needed to raise funds to make some improvements on the property, which in turn would help maximise the potential selling price of the property.

“The applicant wanted the funds quickly so they could start the improvement works immediately and get the property on the market in time for the best house selling period, the summer.

“The process from start to finish ensured that the borrower had the funds within 2 weeks and was delighted with the level of service received from both Brytannic and Bridgebank.

“Everytime I called to speak to Carl or Kay, their head of legal processing, to ask for an update, they were very informative and had the information straight away. The client was that impressed with the overall experience they have already been back in touch to request an advance for another project.”

The Broker of the Month award is presented to a broker in recognition of the support and commitment that they demonstrate to Bridgebank Capital in respect of both deal volumes and quality. David Whiteside of UK Capital Connections is the recipient of this award for June 2013.

Whiteside has worked closely with Bridgebank Capital throughout the month, delivering a high standard of application information, the lender said. This approach has also been supported by continued updates from David in relation to any factors impacting upon the application process.

He said: “I am delighted to have been presented with the Bridgebank Capital Broker of the Month Award.

“I have worked within the commercial finance and bridging sector for 30 years and recognise the value and importance of working closely with quality lenders such as Bridgebank Capital. The teamwork and level of service provided by Bridgebank Capital allows me to deliver back the highest levels of service and advice to meet my clients expectations.

“It is with pleasure that I accept this award in recognition of the quality of introductions that we submit to Bridgebank Capital.”

Both were presented with an acrylic tombstone award and Voucher Express shopping vouchers to the value of £500.
