The Black Mortgage Professionals and Allies Network has opened registration for its fifth industry networking event, to be held in London next month.
The Black Mortgage Professionals and Allies Network (BMPAN) will host its next networking event at 17.15 on Wednesday 11 February 2026 at HSBC’s Canary Wharf headquarters.
The event, hosted by HSBC Bank UK, is open to mortgage and wider financial services professionals and will feature a chaired panel discussion followed by audience questions and structured networking.
Places are limited and interest is expected to be strong. Registration is available via BMPAN’s online booking form or through the organisation’s website.
VISIBILITY AND OPPORTUNITY BY DESIGN
The theme for the evening is Visibility and opportunity by design – beyond the job title. The panel session will explore how professionals can build visibility and access opportunity in a deliberate and sustainable way, while maintaining authenticity and professional integrity.
Discussion will focus on confidence, reputation, personal presence and the realities of being seen and heard in a competitive financial services environment.
Confirmed speakers include Shauna Roper and Ebenezer Bolatiwa from HSBC, Rosalia Lazzara of Manuka Media, Nana Agyemang of Barclays, Shiloh Robertson of Pepper Money, Julia Ama of Market Financial Solutions, and Paul Watts of Lenuity.
Atlyn Forde (pictured, left), co-founder of BMPAN, said: “Reaching our fifth event is an important point for BMPAN. We have grown quickly, but with purpose.
“Our focus has been on building trust, strong partnerships and practical value for members. This event reflects the progress we have made and the standards we want to set for how inclusive networks show up in this industry.”
Jeffrey Krampah-Williams (pictured, centre), co-founder of BMPAN, added: “This session is designed to be honest and useful. Visibility is often talked about, but not always explained in a way that feels real.
“The speakers will share lived experience and clear lessons that people can take back into their day jobs and careers.”
Aleka Gutzmore (pictured, right), co-founder of BMPAN, said: “This event is also about what comes next.
“BMPAN will continue to expand its role in supporting talent, opening doors and raising the profile of our networking community. We want to see more diverse voices on panels, recognised through awards, and stepping into senior leadership roles across financial services.”
Since its launch, BMPAN has built a community of more than 500 financial services professionals and has delivered a series of events hosted by organisations across the mortgage and financial services sector.
Media, event and sponsorship opportunities are available, with interested organisations encouraged to contact the BMPAN co-founders for further discussion.
