Blemain Group develops broker portal

Published on

Blemain Group has further developed its broker portal, My Broker Venue.

The automated front-end portal streamlines the application process for brokers, enabling registered users to calculate quotes, save applications and gain access to documentation regarding products and services with the Blemain Group of lending companies, including Blemain Finance, Lancashire Mortgage Corporation, Cheshire Mortgage Corporation and Auction Finance 4 Brokers.

Gary Bailey, sales director at Blemain Group, said: “We began this process by conducting extensive research with our brokers to understand their requirements and then piloted the new system with them in advance of launch earlier this year, ensuring their needs were met and that it had the capability to deal with their different processes.

“Since then we’ve integrated a number of platforms to facilitate this, including Hometrack, Equifax, income and expenditure, and more, providing what the brokers wanted and ensuring that we have a lot of the basic information we need when the application is received. The result is that My Broker Venue is unique in the flexibility it offers the broker and ensures that it’s quick and easy to do business with us.

“Enhanced technology will be key to the financial services industry moving forward, not only in improving efficiency but also helping to meet the demands of increased regulation. Most importantly, it will help ensure the right outcome for customers, with a quick and flexible approach that suits any broker’s process, and that’s why we’ve invested in developing this platform.”
