Blacks Connect upgrades quote & instruction system

Published on

Blacks Connect has announced an upgrade of its broker quotation and instruction system with a number of new services and developments introduced.

The conveyancing firm claims its upgrade has been designed to provide a more streamlined service for users, a more detailed information flow, as well as presenting them with more income-generating opportunities.

One of those major new opportunities for broker users is the ability to quote and instruct Blacks to work on behalf of lender, Precise Mortgages, earlier in the process than previously. Up until now brokers would have to wait for Precise Mortgages to instruct Blacks Connect itself however now the quotation and instruction can be made by the broker automatically and they can earn money on that instruction.

The system will also help Blacks Connect staff to support brokers and their clients where lenders require full searches on a remortgage. Full searches only used to be required predominantly on purchases but now the Blacks Connect system can help staff identify the lender, the potential requirement for a full search and subsequently advise the client of this during the welcome call.

The conveyancer is urging users to work with the new system and to feedback on future developments they would like to see introduced.

David Gilman (pictured), partner in charge of Blacks Connect, said: “Our quotation and instruction system is at the heart of our proposition and we are continually striving to develop an easy-to-use, transparent, informative and opportunity-focused offering.

“This newly-enhanced system provides a number of clear benefits to users, not least the opportunity to quote and instruct Blacks Connect themselves for Precise Mortgages’ cases where previously they would have to wait for the lender to do this. This is likely to mean a significant time-saving for all concerned and should be welcomed by not just the client but all stakeholders, particularly as it means the broker is earning that income. The system is also supporting Blacks Connect staff, for example, with information on those lenders that may require full searches on remortgages.

“Our upgrade of the system does not stop here however and we will be working with our developers to ensure we are fit for purpose both now and in the future.”
