Black & White Bridging bolsters team to support growth

Published on

Black & White Bridging has announced the appointment of two new recruits as it continues to expand both its lending and investment activities.

Lisa Klychkova joins the Bristol-based lender as investment analyst while Liam Dorrington has been appointed assistant accountant.

The hires come as the firm looks to build capacity and strengthen its operational and investor-facing functions.

SUSTAINED GROWTH

The announcement follows a period of sustained growth for Black & White Bridging, which specialises in bridging loans, refurbishment finance and short-term property lending.

Klychkova takes on a dual role supporting the firm’s capital raising and lending operations.

In addition to working closely with the lending team on underwriting, credit proposals and due diligence, she will be responsible for helping to grow the investor base and source capital for loan-by-loan investments.

“I’m excited to join Black & White Bridging at such a pivotal time,” said Klychkova.

“The dual nature of my role lets me work closely with both investors and the lending team – which is exactly the kind of challenge I was looking for.

“I’m confident that my background and network can help contribute to the firm’s ambitious growth plans.”

FINANCIAL OPERATIONS

Dorrington joins the finance team, bringing experience in financial operations. He will support a range of core functions, including daily bank reconciliations, accounts processing, investor statements and payments, as well as assisting with month-end reporting and loan book maintenance.

“I’m really pleased to be joining Black & White Bridging,” said Dorrington.

“It’s a great opportunity to get stuck into a dynamic and varied finance role, while helping the team keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.”

Damien Druce, chief operating officer at Black & White Bridging, welcomed the appointments, describing them as key additions to the business.

“Both Lisa and Liam bring talent, energy, and fresh perspectives to the business. Lisa’s hybrid role reflects our wider strategy of aligning lending with investor growth, and her HNWI network is a huge asset.”

And he added: “Liam’s appointment ensures continuity in our finance team and supports the operational discipline our investors and customers expect. We’re thrilled to have them both on board.”
