Luke Crocker-Wilton has joined Black Book Finance, to head up its specialist buy-to-let packaging team.

Crocker-Wilton spent the last five years as a senior broker at TBMC, providing packaging services to introducers seeking assistance with all types of buy-to-let, HMO, MUB and holiday let requirements. He will now be providing the same services for the introducers and clients of Black Book Finance.

Michael Clapper, CEO at Black Book Finance, said: “Having worked with Luke on several complex buy-to-let transactions whilst he was at TBMC, I had always been impressed by his vast knowledge of the sector and his ability to find workable solutions to even the most complex of scenarios. The moment I heard of the decision to close TBMC, I offered Luke a role and I am delighted that he chose to accept.

Michael Clapper,It’s a tough buy-to-let market now for sure, but tough markets require the very best advisory. Luke’s appointment has further strengthened our packaging proposition for any residential investment requirement, and I am certain that our clients and introducers – both existing and new – will be delighted with this significant service enhancement.”

Crocker-Wilton added: “Whilst at TBMC, my dealings with the team at Black Book stood out as a genuine pleasure, given their highly pro-active approach to cases. Michael and his team have a superb reputation with both brokers and lenders, and I was delighted to be asked to join them.

“Black Book have allowed me the opportunity to continue delivering the specialist service I am so passionate about for introducers and clients.”
