Birketts appointed to Countryside panel

Law firm Birketts has been appointed to the legal panel of Countryside Properties.

The house builder is targeting 3,600 completions a year by 30 September 2018 across its housebuilding and partnerships divisions.

Steven Kay (pictured), head of Birketts’ housebuilder sector team, said: “We are delighted that Countryside have appointed us to their legal panel. This is a significant appointment for Birketts and we are very much looking forward to supporting Countryside and growing our relationship with them at this exciting time.”

Angela Dowding, Countryside’s group chief solicitor, said: “We are delighted to be working with Birketts, who provide a local, comprehensive service at competitive rates.”

Birketts’ housebuilder sector team acts for five of the top 10 national housebuilders, together with a number of other national housebuilders and SME developers.

Its full service team includes specialist real estate, planning, tax, health and safety, rights of light, telecoms, construction, agricultural, rights of way and environmental lawyers.
